My theorizing brain after watching Encanto: you were right and Mirabel is connected to the house her room being the entire house which is why the door faded into the wall and why the magic came back when she opened what was her real door and why she out of everyone in the family talked to the house the most and why when she got upset about the broken family the house would crack and her gift is connected to the house because a house keeps a family together and that's her job is to keep everyone safe, happy and together.
Also Isabela is gay because of these obscure lines and hidden moments.
