I was wondering how you choose which type of pony to make each member? Like I always thought hwasa would be a unicorn (probably cause she reminds me of rarity for some reason lol) so I'm curious why you decided to make her an earth pony!

deciding the pony types was the most interesting and difficult part. some of my messy notes:
- solar and hwasa are very hardworking and down-to-earth. my first thought was to make hyejin a unicorn too, but i couldn’t imagine her using magic lol (she also reminds me of rarity, even though character-wise they are veeery different) idk her being an earth pony just feels right
- for wheein and moonbyul i was torn between unicorn and pegasus. i think unicorn suits byul more, cause there’s something elegant and delicate in her demeanor. wheein is very free-spirited and flighty + it would be too easy for her to draw using magic :)
would love to see others’ interpretations though!
