Meanwhile my Black Friends were getting hired but I wasn’t… After they told me about the racist owner I figured that the other businesses in the area were the same. They just disn’t like white people I guess and denied me work cause of it. So, yeah, sure, I have White Privilege.

I lived in a shitty town where the ratio was 3 Black People to 1 White/Other… I was told by Black Coworkers when I FINALLY got a job in that town that I was lucky because the owner didn’t like white people. In school I had friends that were called racist names and were bullied for being white… If I can’t get a job because of my skin color… I’d consider that oppression…

I have and will be because of my gender, sexuality, and economic status but not for my race. That’s white privilege. Almost every POC I’ve met wanted to change the color of their skin. Was bullied for not being white. That never happened to me or any white personal I’ve ever met. That’s white privilege.

The whole reason why people have race is because of the way the sun hits different areas in the world. This wouldn’t matter for mermaids because guess what they live under water so their genetics would be completely different and they wouldn’t evolve the same as humans. Of course none of this matters because again they are mermaids. They are fictional. Also the original Little mermaid was green.
